Johannesburg, South Africa (September 27, 2021) – Stanislas ZeZe, seasoned entrepreneur and CEO of Bloomfield Investment Corporation, a credit rating agency, will appear at the 5th Annual Tropics Business Summit to present a keynote talk on “Rated Africa: The Role of Rating in the Development of African Financial Markets. This year’s Summit will be held via livestream from October 12-16, 2021, on the Tropic Business Summit Facebook and YouTube pages respectively.
Stanislas is the founder of the first Financial Rating Agency in French-speaking Africa, Bloomfield Investment Corporation. He contributed significantly to the WAEMU financial market negotiations that led to the introduction of mandatory financial ratings on the capital market. He has a very good reputation in financial markets and in the investor community at the national, regional, and international levels.
He has a wealth of experience in financial and operational risk management acquired in renowned institutions such as the World Bank in Washington (Senior Risk Analyst), the International Institute for Economics in Washington (Project Director), National Bank of Detroit, in Ann Harbor, Michigan, (Director of SME and SMI Risks), at the African Development Bank (Senior Country Credit Officer) and Shell Oil Product Africa (Regional Credit Risk Manager for West and Central Africa).
Stanislas graduated from the University of Michigan where he obtained an MPA (Master of Public Administration) with a specialization in Financial Risk Management and Strategic Planning for Economic Development. He studied at the Institute of Political Science and Economics of Eastern Michigan University, and Business Law at the University of Nantes in France. He is a member of the Association of American Public Administrators and Pi Sigma Alpha (Political Science Honor Society).
Zeze was decorated as an Officer of the National Order by the Grand Chancellery of Côte d’Ivoire in August 2019 and received the award for the Best Financier of the year by Financial Afrik, the leader in financial information in Africa. In April 2016, he was featured on the cover of Forbes Africa magazine, and awarded a Corporate Governance Award at the Leadership Forum held in Abidjan in 2014.
